Bokeh Comparision: Nikon 50mm f1.8 vs Nikon 35mm f1.8
Nikon actually posted a pic comparing the bokehs for their most popular non-professional prime lens.
One would assume the 50mm to have more focus compression and smother bokeh.
Although these 2 qualities are difficult to compare because the angle and focus point of these images are not similar between these lens... Still, we can still do a rough comparison.
Things I am looking at:
- Angle of the base of the statue
- Focus compress based off the ground
- Smoothness of the bokeh by looking at the diagonal line (due to the 35mm being closer to the subject)
Conclusion: I am impressed at the Nikkor 35mm. The focus compression isn't has good as the 50mm, but the bokeh appears to be just as smooth

Taro pie at McDonalds
From my trip to Oahu, Hawaii... Couldn't pass up the chance to eat Taro Pie from Mickey Dee's.
Very tasty and ONE costs 99 cents. That's twice the price of an apple/cherry pie! But it was great. Very sweet....

Charging tips for your iPhone
Most people believe the best way to preserve the life of your battery on your iPhone (or any other Lithium Ion) battery is to let it completely discharge. This is not true for your iPhone.
According to Apple, you should:

- Charging your iPhone while in certain carrying cases may generate excess heat, which can affect battery capacity. If you notice that your iPhone gets hot when you charge it, take it out of its case first.
